WHO IS TFR?
After 24 years of hosting The Evening Sports Page, Ron Scarborough retired from The ESP due to his health. He decided to turn The Evening Sports Page over to Cade Crenshaw. Cade was his producer and fellow co-host. Cade continued Ron’s legacy and brought the sports world to the Upstate of South Carolina on weeknights. Austin Silvey joined Cade as the shows co-host/producer on September 26, 2017.
After 26 years of being on the air, the Evening Sports Page signed off for the final time. The last show from 101.7 WGOG in Walhalla, SC was on March 28, 2019. Austin Silvey then took over The Evening Sports Page as an online-only sports entity. He covered South Carolina High School Football & Recruiting, College Football, NFL Draft, the Senior Bowl, Clemson Athletics and more!
In March of 2020, ESP partnered with TYGTAL Exposure & Sports Consulting. TYGTAL is a NCAA Compliant and Certified Scouting/Evaluation Service. Together we have & will continue to put on multiple showcases and provide various options for student-athletes to gain exposure in recruiting and better themselves. For more info on what TYGTAL provides, click here.
In March 2021, after nearly two years of continued growth & success, the Evening Sports Page name was officially retired to make way for a new vision. The Film Room Scouting will continue the legacy of ESP in a fresh way with a more centered focus on it's coverage topics. TFR Scouting will focus on these four things: Evaluations, Scouting, Photography, and Interviews, with a spotlight on recruits in South Carolina and the NFL Draft.
I greatly appreciate all the support over the past few years and hope the same group, along with new people along the way, will stay with us and continue to help grow the TFR brand.
